Laichwiltach Family Life Society has an opening for an Early Childhood Educator in our Little Fry Daycare in the Campbell River area.
Education:
College diploma in: Early Childhood Certificate or Diploma
Skills, Abilities & Experience
- Experience working in Daycare setting an asset.
- Excellent problem solving, supervision skills.
- Excellent negotiation and mediation skills
- Communication skills, both written and oral
- Maintains professional standards of practice.
- Ability to work in team environment and with families.
- Cultural Sensitivity to children’s needs.
- Develop and deliver age-appropriate programming.
- First aide certification
- Criminal Record Check
- Valid driver’s license
Salary: $27.00 per hour (incentive of $6.00) Wage enhancement)
Hours per week: 5 days per week (35 hrs. per week)
