AHS Chefs: Salmon Patties
Join in for a virtual cook-along, where Chef Cherina (Munu AHS) and Elder Linda will show us how to make salmon patties. Gather the ingredients below to follow along.

Cook Time: 5-6 min
Makes: 4-6 patties (depending on size)
1 (14oz) can salmon
¼ cup finely chopped white onion
½ cup fine breadcrumbs
Salt & pepper
Olive oil (for pan-frying)
Drain liquid from salmon into a cup.
Mix together salmon, egg, onion, bread crumbs, and spices.
Form into patties. If mixture is too dry, add a little bit of the reserved salmon liquid or a spoonful of mayonnaise.
Pan fry in olive oil for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Place patties on paper towel to remove excess oil.
Serve with rice, potatoes, and/or green salad.
Replace breadcrumbs with crushed crackers
Add lemon pepper, minced garlic, and/or Dijon mustard
Add finely chopped celery or red pepper
Top with sour cream or Greek yogurt
