Skeh Baiyoh – House of Children AHS

Skey Baiyoh AHS Child Care program is a sister to preschool programs Prince George AHS and Power of Friendship AHS, hosted by Prince George Native Friendship Centre on Lheidli T’enneh territory. 

Our program’s name, Skeh Baiyoh (House of Children) was given to us by Elder Edie Frederick. 

We have 3 full-day programs:

1. Eagle Room – Multi-Age Program for 8 children
2. Cougar Room – Multi-Age Program for 8 children
3. Bear Room – Infant/Toddler Program for 12 children

Skeh Baiyoh follows mostly Carrier tradition and language, led by our Cultural Teacher.

To support our AHS families, we host a monthly Community Kitchen, as well as a Potlach style family gathering each month, and we offer transportation to our centre in the morning.
